"Hello there!
My name is Maria Meyer, but you can call me Marie.
I have been studying Communication Multimedia Design for a few years now,
where I have acquired
various
skills
including coding with Arduino and website development, storytelling through games, films, and 2D
graphics,
as well as working effectively under tight deadlines.
I am enthusiastic about utilizing these skills in my future projects and collaborations."
As soon as I complete my studies, my focus will be on pursuing my passions - making documentaries,
capturing
more photographs, and establishing my own clothing brand.
Everything I create is infused with love and passion. As a person of Surinamese descent, I take pride in
the
fact that the word for love in their language is 'lobi'.
That's why I have decided to name my future brand, atelier, or company with the same name:
My art work "Reverse tunnel vision" was about the different views on the afterlife.
We made a collaboration piece for in the Museum of Breda.
I made the bottom with scrap pieces and I liked the idea of adding feet to the bottom of the rocket.
I had the honor of photographing the entire course, and the end result was exhibited at the Stedelijk
Museum
Breda.
As part of a collaborative effort, we created a piece for display at the Museum of Breda.
I
contributed
by constructing the base of the rocket using scrap pieces. To add a unique touch, I added a skirt and
heels to the bottom.
I was honered to make photos during the whole course, which ended up in the Stedelijk museum Breda as well.
Pier 15 has an exclusive ZINE, which features some of my photographs.
